Arriving at Tangier Ibn Battouta (TNG)

The airport is 15 km southwest of the city, about 20–25 minutes to the Ville Nouvelle, medina or Malabata hotels. Arrivals is small; there is no train and the bus is impractical with luggage.

Airport transfer with us is a flat 450 MAD (about €42) each way for the car — 150 MAD to reserve online, the balance in cash to your driver on arrival. No metered surprises at 1 am.

  • Airport transfer both ways — 450 MAD per car each way, 600 MAD return in the city.
  • Private boat trip along the Strait, jet skis, quads or scuba diving (999 MAD, 3 hours, equipment and guide included).
  • A day trip to Chefchaouen, the Akchour waterfalls (2,300 MAD, 9 am–8 pm) or Cap Spartel and the Caves of Hercules.
  • Anything for July, August or a public holiday — these sell out weeks ahead.

Most booked by visitors from France

Best time to go

April–June and September–October: 22–28 °C, sea warm enough to swim, no August crowds. July and August are busy with French-Moroccan families — book boats and transfers well ahead.

Money, cards and prices

€1 is roughly 10.8 MAD. Cards work in hotels and modern cafés; cash is king in the medina, taxis and beach clubs. Change euros at a licensed bureau in Ville Nouvelle, not at the airport.

Everything on this site is booked directly with our own drivers, skippers and guides — no third-party resellers. You pay a small deposit online to hold the slot and the balance in dirhams on the day, and you get a WhatsApp confirmation with your driver's name and number.
