Liability & booking conditions
Please read this before you book. My Tangier connects you with trusted local suppliers, but we are not the operator of the experiences listed on this site.
In short: we help you book, but the supplier delivers the service. Deposits are non-refundable unless the supplier cancels. Travel and activities are at your own risk. We are not liable for third-party actions, weather, delays, injury, loss or missed connections.
We are an introduction service, not the operator
My Tangier introduces travellers to independent local suppliers, guides, boat skippers, drivers and experience providers. We do not own, operate or directly employ the vehicles, boats, equipment or personnel used for your booking. When you pay through this site you are paying a deposit or arrangement fee to secure the supplier's service; the balance is paid directly to the supplier on the day.
Deposits are non-refundable
The 'Pay Today' amount shown at checkout is a non-refundable deposit that secures your slot. It is only refunded if we or the supplier cancel due to weather, safety or operational reasons. If you cancel, miss the activity, arrive late, provide incorrect details, or change your mind, the deposit is not refunded. The remaining balance is paid in cash to the supplier on the day unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Transport is provided by third-party drivers
Airport transfers, city pick-ups and out-of-town transport are arranged with licensed independent drivers and vehicle owners. My Tangier is not a transport company. We pass your details to the driver and confirm the booking, but we are not liable for traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, driver conduct, luggage handling, missed flights or any loss, injury or damage occurring during transport.
Changes, weather and force majeure
Start times, meeting details and availability can change due to tide, weather, supplier schedules or local conditions. We confirm final details with you on WhatsApp before the booking date. If an activity is cancelled by the supplier for safety or weather reasons, we will offer a reschedule or a refund of the deposit. We are not liable for costs you incur separately, such as flights, accommodation, missed connections or other bookings.
Activities carry inherent risk
Boat trips, jet skis, quad biking, scuba diving, hiking and other activities involve natural risks. You participate entirely at your own risk. Children, pregnant travellers, people with medical conditions, non-swimmers and anyone unsure of their fitness should inform us before booking and follow the supplier's safety instructions. My Tangier is not liable for accident, injury, illness, death, loss of property or any other claim arising from participation.

Prices, opening hours, menus, routes and descriptions on this site are based on the latest information we have and are subject to change. We aim to keep everything accurate, but we do not guarantee that a specific place, dish, room, route or experience will be available exactly as described. Always confirm important details directly with us on WhatsApp before travelling.
