Sea Kayaking
Paddle into the coves the boats can't reach
The experience
A kayak gets you closer to this coastline than anything else on the water. Slide along the base of the cliffs, poke into caves at the waterline, land on sand that has no path down to it.
The bay is sheltered and forgiving, so first-timers are usually confident within ten minutes. Singles and doubles are available, and a guide can go with you if you would rather not read the water yourself.
Early morning is the magic slot — flat water, soft light and the city still asleep behind you.
