Stand Up Paddle Boarding
Flat water, morning light and the whole bay to yourself
The experience
Paddle boarding in Tangier is at its best before ten in the morning, when the bay goes glassy and you can see the bottom from standing height. It takes most people about five minutes to get up and stay up.
Boards, paddles and leashes are provided, and the launch is sheltered. Cruise the shoreline, stop and sit when you want, jump in whenever the heat gets to you.
One of the cheapest and most photogenic hours you will spend on the water here.
